11th January 22 – The next 60m phase of the UK Governments Industrial Energy Transformation Fund opens for applications from 31st January until 29th April 22. The new phase in addition to Manufacturing and Data Centres is now open to the energy intensive sectors of Quarrying & Mining and the Recovery and Recycling of Materials. Providing grants for feasibility and engineering studies, Deep Decarbonisation projects, and Energy Efficiency projects, from 30% to 70%, dependent on company size and plant location.

The competition is open for feasibility studies grants above £30,000 and minimum project awards from £100,000 up to £30m for Deep Decarbonisation Projects. The scope of projects is eligible for industrial processes switching fuels to industrial heat pumps and with waste heat to recover.
